Jonathan Ellis was born in London, where he studied music aesthetics and journalism at the Royal Academy of Music. He moved to Holland in the early seventies and worked for Phonogram International, Franzen Hey & Veltman, and Océ-van der Grinten before establishing himself as freelance conceptual copywriter, scenario writer, speech writer and author. He has worked as lead copywriter on many international campaigns, has scripted a number of major corporate films, and has written a wide range of video and tape-slide presentations, many of which have won national and international awards. Today he concentrates on writing – he is a published author - literary translation and communication in the broadest sense of the word.
